992 Front Vents

Hi all,

I have seen some 992 4S where the front vents close for aerodynamics and open when needed. They have 5 or 6 slats. And some have a single fixed one. Why are they different? Age of car seems to make no difference

The difference is the Carrera models without the Sport Design Kit have the Porsche Active Aerodynamics Air Intakes that adjust accordingly.

The fixed single slat ones are the cars with the Sport Design Kit which have a different front and rear bumper.

Turbo as Turbo S come with their own style Active Aero Air Intakes.
