Car Insurance for Bosnia - suggestions???

We are driving down to Dubrovnik and have to cross the 20km strip of Bosnia. Surprisingly our insurers wont cover it. You can buy temporary 3rd party cover on the border but not at Neum (where this particular crossing is).
Question, does anybody know where else I can get it. Can I buy it in advance on the Slovenia/Croatia border or do I have to go into Split/Trogir maybe.
Alternative suggestion is maybe to cross at a different point but GF is not keen on spending any time there other than the absolutely necessary.

I didnt bother, its 10/15 mins of nice coastal road. (although not sure if you are doing the same route from split along the coast)

Yeah, we're just going down the coast road but I was under the impression that they would check at the border or do they just check if you go north at Neum.
