Quick question to the fountain of knowledge that is the PH massive.

I have to match something (a ceramic tile) which has 'made in U.E' on the back.

Rumour has it that this comes from italy, but the details don't match up.

Is there a region in Italy that could be attributed to these initials?

I did think of the United Arab Emirates, but isn't that typically U.A.E??? I can't think of another country it could be.

Just something that has got me stumped, that's all. :hehe:

Does it mean "EU" in English or some variation on the theme ("Union Européan" or suchlike?)
