JNF in Nuremberg was doing tin models until 1965, later they invented Carrera slot race sets.

I wouldn't do anything more than a light clean on that...the patina's great, and I suspect a refurb would damage its value.

Very rare to find one of these with a driver still inside! A delicate clean and it will look magnificent.
