Hi
Anyone had a carrera 991 serviced recently? My GTS is due its 4 year service - must be a major service. The fixed price costs seem to have been scrapped. I have been quoted 1800 pounds by an OPC which made my eyes water (includes spark plugs and break fluid). Any comparable figures appreciated. I am not interested in servicing outside the official network.

Can’t help with 4 year costs but I just had my 8 year service and Brooklands in Surrey were the cheapest of all London area OPC’s

Ditto for my old Cayman GTS following extensive research!

I've just been quoted £1700 for for the 4-year service on my Turbo S. Original quote £1900 but I asked can you improve that.

If you join PCGB you get 10% off parts so I'll give them my membership card when I pay and they will take off the extra 10% and no doubt grizzle!!!

I had my 4 year service a couple of months ago on my 991.2 gts and paid £1,660 after a bit of negotiation. Quite a big difference in price between the dealerships (varied from £1,500 to £1,900 including the recommended bits) so definitely shop around. I ended paying a bit more just because dealership was more convenient (they need the car overnight for 4 year service). No doubt to justify the exorbitant fee!). Big hit especially when you add on the £1.8k for 2 year extended warranty
