Hi,

The manual makes reference to some Volvo branded oil, can you use any oil or must it be theirs? Thanks in advance.

Use whatever brand you want as long as it meets the recommended spec. Put the VRN into Opie oils website or Comma... or Halfords etc. Lots of choice, just don't put the wrong grade in. But brand, irrelevant really.
