Just started browsing. Looking at E90 M3 Manual preferably the LCI and I can only find two for sale? In fact there's only half a dozen pre LCI's for sale, didn't realise these were that rare.

They only made 135 RHD LCI manual e90 M3s (that's for all RHD markets not just the UK) so a yes a rare car.

Brings back memories of the one I owned: LCI, Manual, EDC, Harman Kardon, Folding Back Seats. Think I paid just over £40k for it brand new, (2009 recession price) and then early terminated the PCP for about £32k 18 months later! (photo from collection day Jan 2010). Should have kept it!

I didn’t realise that they were that rare….I really should have bought my uncles Silverstone blue one off him!

I test drove one from a private seller in London who was asking 24k for a 50k miler in 2017 before I bought my manual e92 36k miler for 19k.

It felt different, not sure if the seating position or the chassis but it seemed pointier handling. I've heard the 4 door is more rigid. I prefer the look of the e92, especially the rear angles but if rare is more important than beauty get your wallet out and park it with just the front end showing.

I have just sold my Melbourne red manual LCI a couple of days ago.

No need to advertise it and deal with the usual suspects was sold through Cutters wanted post.

I do like Melbourne Red even though it doesn't look like it's Metallic? This one sounds lovely with the Spec,Manual,One owner,39,000 miles Full BMW History and a "individual" what ever that is? But a little out of my budget even though seems closer to the norm for a 4Dr LCI Manual these days.....

Individual is the name of a BMW programme of paint/interior trim and leather options, that car has champagne leather which is an individual option.

Had a 10 year old manual E90 for a couple of years, which was a really good daily. Engine is fantastic in some ways, but with all the fireworks at the top end it's not that exploitable on the road, not within the realms of what I thought was socially acceptable as top of 3rd was 100+ from memory. Not a great track car as it struggles too hide its bulk and its very heavy on consumables. Changed it for a M2 comp, which has way more real world performance, handling is much better and is just miles more fun to drive - engine does sound dull though. All as it should be as its a much newer car. £30K + for a E90 m3 is crackers - engine sounds fantastic, but I just can't see why these are so sought after! Saying that all cars like this are daft money now.
