Reading the FIA and Mercedes statements it appears Mercedes have got concessions from the FIA that will work to their advantage in 2022/23 etc. of course this is all wrapped into a ‘review’ by the FIA but note Mercedes’ use coded wording such as we will hold them accountable etc

Hamilton takes the high ground and looks good. Suzi Wolff issues a statement which reflects how the team really feel. The public know Hamilton was robbed and Verstappen isn’t really a proper champion. Mercedes’ have the upper hand with FIA in 2022 etc which will only work to their commercial advantage

Well played Mercedes

Not sure where you're reading that in their statement. To me it just says that they, and other teams, are going to work with the FIA to make sure this mess doesn't happen again
