I’m away with family this weekend and have got a table booked for 12.30 tomorrow for a meal. Not a problem I thought as I packed, I will just take my sky box, swap over with the sky box in the holiday house (all houses have sky right?!) record it and watch it later.

Only there isn’t a sky box. There is a dish but god knows where goes. No worries the tv records, it just needs a usb stick, but that doesn’t work. Family said I can duck out of the meal at 1.55 so I can watch it on 4+1, but that doesn’t work.

So, after watching everything unfold since March, reach boiling point I’m not going to see the final race.

Joy.

I have got sky go on my phone, iPad and there is a Mac here too but it can’t be recorded and watched later, you have to watch live and that isn’t possible while eating a meal.

I'm missing the live show as out, aiming to watch it about 5pm.

I know from past experience how hard it is to avoid the outcome. Phone will have to be off to avoid notifications, don't walk past any shops with TVs etc, turn off car radio. Don't look at others phones and so on.

Me. Quite deliberately.

I will not support a sport who's governing body deliberately ignores some exceptionally (and proven) dangerous driving purely to increase hype and viewer figures.

I'll follow along on here, with moderate levels of anxiety at what I hope will not happen, but that I cannot see not happening.

The highlights are shown but is it possible to watch the whole race later on sky go?

Why can't you watch it on catch up on All 4? The only issue is you'll have to wait until the end of the coverage, and then wait for them to upload it to the playout servers.

And no doubt sit through all of their adverts. It's never as good after the event as live. Sky go have highlights for 1hr at 1730

^^Sums up my feelings exactly, I called it months ago that somehow we would have a winner takes all showdown.

FIA = Farce in action

I will check in here and see what is happening.
