Having lived in the former Soviet Union for 6 years I know where you are coming from.........!

One place that did surprise me though was Belarus, went there on a business trip a few years ago and the Hotel guide even had a section telling you how much the girls should be and if they ask for more negotiate the price down..........This was the top Hotel in minsk...........?
