Went to get my booster, and asked if i was pregnant.

I'm a 40 ish old man.

It is now a valid question to be asked across the board. I found it a bit weird to ask really. Discuss?

I'm a 40ish man too. They didn't ask me if I was pregnant, even though I look like I am.

So, yes I'm a bit bigger built than most, but come on, I actually found it offensive for 1/2 second.

You were dressed in your favourite Sally Bowles outfit weren't you ?
That's hardly the rig out for a vaccination.

I had my first jab 6 weeks after my second miscarriage, felt quite sad saying "no".

I suspect the form they have to fill out for you doesn't remove that question even if your gender is registered as male and they'll have been told they must get verbal confirmation for every question. It's not worth the headache if someone senior spots them skipping a question because of the obvious answer.

Hmm. Reminds me of a question I was asked at Liverpool John Lennon Airport when checking in for a flight. I had to pinch myself as the young scouse lady asked everyone the same security question:

"Has anyone put anything in your luggage that you don't know about?".

I could not be bothered to explain the fundamental flaw in the question and just said "No".

When I had my first jab she had an A4 laminate with questions, she skipped over the ones that wouldn't concern me, one of which related to being pregnant.

2nd jab I don't recall being asked anything in particular at all.

Not had my booster yet.

After being asked to sit down for 10 mins afterwards I said 'I'll go sit outside for a bit'. Then drove back to work.
I'm so naughty.

After my booster jab, I went and sat down for two minutes until I realised I hadn't been given my sticker. yikes
I tried to retrace my steps, going against the contraflow pattern marked out on the floor in stick-on footprints, and was forcibly restrained by burly covid guardian walts, but once they heard my plaintive protestations regarding my stickerless state, they relented and despatched a minion to Cubicle 5 to obtain my well-deserved sticker which I could show to everyone to prove how brave I'd been.

I had a chuckle when I got given a leaflet that said raise your hand if you have any of the following after.

One was going unconscious…

Was asked of me too when boosted recently, I could only get 3G so worth a top-up. In that Scotland. Male and >60.

Nurse did that slight roll-eyes, raised-eyebrow shoulder-shrug expression that conveys the message - I know this is tosh, you know this is tosh but we have to follow the steps. Acknowledging smiles exchanged.

It will be because men can have a cervix, and women can have a penis.
