Sonos upgrade scheme?

Anybody used this, a mate has a couple of Play 1 speakers, we would both like to make a Sonos purchase, any idea if we can get a discount code for each speaker or one per household? (I’ve been queuing on their customer services helpline for 30 minutes and am losing the will to live!)

Don't you just log in to your account and they tell you which devices qualify?

1 x Play:3 15% off
1 x Bridge (S1 only) 30% off Boost

Each speaker has its own upgrade discount.

Does that mean it has to be like for like,? I was hoping to replace a Play 1 speaker with a TV sound bar.

Don't think it has to be like for like, against the Play:1 on my account it just says 15% off whereas like gareth h above, the Bridge says 30% off Boost.

Read the T&C's https://www.sonos.com/en-gb/legal/upgrade-terms

But, in most cases, you can buy whatever you like. Apart from, for whatever reason, changing a Bridge only gets you discount off a Boost and nothing else. The site will tell you what level of discount each of your specific product gets.

Yeah doesn’t have to be like for like, I upgraded my old Connect (which I’m still using in my office) against the full ARC Surround package with sub and Play One’s. Saved me almost £500, free monies, what’s not to like? 😄👍

I thought the downside to the SONOS upgrade scheme was that the item that you upgraded was then rendered unusable by SONOS.

Has this changed now?

That was the Trade Up program that got rightly slated and that personally, despite all the U-turning, was enough to convince me to never buy Sonos again. This is the newer, Upgrade Program.
