Warning... secure spare wheel...Body work damage

left mine rattling about in the boot for a a month or two.... caused alot stress cracks across the rear of the car. After sthe gel coat was removed it was found that the damage was far more extensive to that seen in the paint work. This resulted in the whole of the rear of the car being rubbed down, grinded, laminated, painted n laquered.

Austec bodyworks carried out the works, and Paul kept me informed all the way through...... letting me know the total extent of the damage after removal of gel coat..... to eating his bacon roll and slurping tea cos so much going on when I picked up my car.

A very busy outfit both mechaninaclly and bodyshop wise..... but always makes time to chat, talk through probs..... advise.... n chat some more..... highly recomended :thumbup:

I took the spare out and chucked it in the garage a couple of years ago. I carry a can of tyre sealant for small punctures and my RAC membership card for big ones!

Well took car out for first time at night..... cant tell under the street lights (normally red shows up as diff colours after a respray)......

Even happier then I was before. Can't recommend Austec enough for body repairs n respray.....

Took it out the day we bought the Griff, bought 2 cans of tyreweld and a small compressor. Can now get the roof in and out easily. Put them in a bag in the right hand corner nearest the driver.
