So with the current market still pretty hot can anyone work out why this has hung around a while ?
It all looks pretty good to me and is 10k less than any other gt2 I can find on the market plus it’s from a reputable dealer.
Thoughts ??

I thought GT2s often stick around for long times, slow market.
I personally would want Clubsport spec (or at least bucket seats).

Car prices are crazy - 66k for a 996 Turbo

I think that the market for all GT2's is far more limited due to the nature of the car.

It sits in a niche between the 997 turbo and 997 GT3. Most who want a daily driver choose the turbo and those who want something more focused for the weekend choose the GT3.

Being a 2wd turbo it's heavier than the GT3, more of a handful that the turbo and still has the 'Widowmaker' tag carried over from the 996 GT2.

Base price new was £131,070 before options so it's down on new. It's a comfort spec and I'd imagine most would prefer clubsport spec with buckets (as mentioned above).

Plus white isn't the best colour on these to show off its muscular curves.

I am no expert on GT2’s but o feel the market is slow for them as they are forgotten in comparison to the GT3 for most people.

Also lack of buckets etc will hurt that car as Porsche people are very spec sensitive.
