I have a great Mk1 Red Rose from 2000. Ive owned it for 5 years and it has been 100% reliable ( hope I haven't now cursed it)
There is no record of ever having an engine rebuild but when SD did a recent 12000 mile service he suggested it is quite likely that it would have been done on a factory recall. Does any one know if there is now any way of checking if that is the case or did all the records disappear with the company.
Hope someone can help. Not really desperate but for the history file it would help. I won't be selling but eventually the kids might when they inherit unless they can bury me in it!!

I’m aware the Blackpool Thunder club have a number of TVR records. Whether they’d have such information I don’t know, but there’s no harm in asking them.

If it was done in the first couple of years then I don't think there will be any paperwork. Mine was done twice and all I have is a handwritten note from the second saying new clutch fitted at discount as goodwill gesture with engine repair.

Thanks for this. Doesn’t sound very promising unless I can get hold of the first owner which is rather unlikely on a 21 year old car
