Nope!
You are not allowed those on board.
Why would you need a razor for a flight anyway?
He's probably travelling light. If you're only on a couple of day jolley it's quite possible to do it without any checked baggage. Toiletries, spare socks and grots, job done

Without wishing to sound too condescending, perhaps to have a shave?
If I've been on a long flight 8hrs+ I like to have a shave, freshens you up and removes the 12 O'clock shadow.
Well I guess I was asking for that, but unfortunately you are not allowed to take razors on board anymore. You can, of course, take an electric razor and use that in the aircraft.
When I went through LHR I looked for razor blades after passport control but couldn’t find any, but was then amazed to be served wine in a glass during the flight!

we flew out of heathrow earlier in the year and they asked you not to travel with razor blades in your hand luggage and surrender them at check in.
go through to departure lounge where you can go into boots and buy guess what.
Loose blades or bic fixed head style (Mac 3, or whatever)?
Yup it's Monaco for a stag 2 nights. Must brush the dog hairs off my old black jacket.

only problem is that electric razors just don't seem to do the job for me and I end up just going without. Extra 300 Driver said:

Clever aren't they! Best I saw was a metal barrelled souvenir pen that had a pseudo tail fin on the end, looked bloomin' lethal to me

I guess you could have an arguement for contained blades but is it really worth the hassle?
