Good price for a Micra auto?

I was asked to find out how much a one owner Nissan Micra Acenta 1.2 2014 63 plate 10k miles auto with FSH, MOT just expired. It’s in perfect condition and the owner rarely now drives it now, practically like new.
I’ve seen them on autotrader for silly money but not sure if they are selling, £7.5 to £8k, seems a lot of cash for a 7 year old car even if low mileage.
I’ve been offered it for £6k, still seems a lot to me, no need myself for it but I could keep it a few months until hopefully my daughter passes her test, is it a good buy for a car you don’t really need? Wife wants to buy it for my daughter, I’m not sure, ok price but had the owner not been a close relative I wouldn’t have looked twice at it. Worth a punt? Easy car to resell if things don’t work out?
