I don’t think they are all white, stock them Carerra has black which is what I have then think there were options for red/yellow etc.

That’s exactly what I was looking for . I don’t like the white dials , I think they have aged badly .

White reminds me of nineties RS Fords!

You can get black but brace yourself for the price…..

I like the coloured dials red/yellow but think they work well when you have the matching seatbelts. Not sure I have seen white, you got a pic?

I always quite liked the white dials, a bit different.

Am I alone in preferring the Boxster dial font over the 911?

As above, white on "S" models as standard (black on base models) and several options to have other colours. "Sand beige" anyone??

Like you, not a fan of the white dials and agree with what you say. Suppose one just needs to drive only at night to avoid the issue!

My 997.1 GT3 has black dials except for the rev counter which is dark grey.

Black on my ‘base’ 997.1 C2 - hated it at first and suffered from white-dial-envy. But that’s when the car’s not running - on the move, the red needles dancing over black dials are lovely!

I like the white dials, it breaks up the dark interior.

OK just came across this thread as i always wondered why most C2s's have white dials, the penny has dropped now! Ok i much prefer the black dials, but im getting a C2S, so if i change them its a 'downgrade' how annoying,

I hate the white dials in my 997, much prefer the black.

For a start on white you can see all the cut outs for indicators etc. and they just don't light up very well in the dark, it looks wishy washy.

On teh 996 you could just swap the whole front panel, ie the section with dials in it, on the 997 the dials are part of the main board section.

Make adding new dials much trickier.

Some nice designs on here....

I had black on my previous 997 Carrera, which I liked a lot but now have Red dials on my Carrera S, and they work really well in all conditions.
