This is weird
Went out in the car Saturday no problem, went to move it Sunday and it started and immediately stopped again, on trying to restart it I just had a click and no fuel pump noise. Click sounded like a relay click, so I purchased a new fuel pump relay, now it gets really weird.

Went to install new relay according to diagram and found no relay installed in designated slot, strange, but there can't have been one there originally, so I'll just change the fuse.... no fuse in designated slot either. So really don't know where to start. I did put the relay in and a fuse in the relevant slots, but nothing different. Any thoughts. Its and Early Mk2 Tuscan 'S'

No idea - but I know my chum's E-Type had a 'clicky' fuel pump that stopped working - he hit it with a spanner and it started working again.... obviously some mechanical spinny bits had got stuck, which is why it clicked.

OP - can't speak from experience on Mk.2 Tuscan.

However, can't believe TVR didn't use same fuse/relay box as the Mk.!? I'd double check relay positioning.

If you're still at a loss - then start at the fuel pump terminals for 12V (and you can just use a 12V lamp to do this) and work forward to the fuse/relay board....Of course, it might be that the pump has failed/seized....and, if you've got 12V at the pump terminals, then that is the likely scenario.

Short and sweet post to verify the above post. MK1 & MK2 fuel pump fuse and relay are of the same location

Thanks
Car is in its carcoon so will open it up at the weekend and start checking for power at the pump, out of curiosity where should the fuse and relay be, I've got fuel pump fuse at location 34 and relay at 41 according to the manual, but as I said these slots are empty

I know the big black one and it's quite near the middle of the cabin side edge of the panel iirc.
What's that brown one??? 😮
