ICE to EV conversion companies? UK

[new666uk]

Hi all

As we both now WFH we sold one of our cars and kept the BMW m135 which I've had from new.

I've had mostly BMW's in my car life and a couple of e36 325's which I especially loved. By modern standards they're modest on the performance side but I was beginning to think about getting an e36 that could be restomodded with added EV. I love the look of e36's and to be honest the new car regulations coming out in the not too distant future make me feel like the soul has been taken out of driving and that cars are more and more just an appliance.

I see that EVWest did a race version of an e36 for a one off but they don't have the kit in their range to purchase. Does anyone know of UK companies who've converted something like this to help me fulfill a midlife crisis?

thanks
Paul

Thanks both.

I was aware of Moggy already but didn't see that he'd done a BMW e36 before. Similar Zero EV seem to have a very small number of models they have a kit for. I was hoping for a kit so there is some standardisation and it's not a one - off niche car.
