I’m pretty local, own a Porsche, eager to track it, but not a member of the club…
Is it REALLY worth joining?

If you intend to track your car 2-3 times a year then yes you will get your fee for join back on first occasion. PCGB pricing is competitive compared to the big TD organiser

I live just up the road. Is it OK to come down in my little Cayman and mooch about the pits?

I wish!

Was sold out before I'd (dis)organised myself to book.

Have a good 'un T!

Worth putting yourself on reserve list. People do drop out at the last minute.

Check first to see if spectating is allowed. It hasn’t been at some circuits because of covid.

It looks like I may just do that too.

It's definitely allowed yes

I was at Silverstone and Donington with PCGB in August so know first hand.

FWIW and IMHO at Oulton, as far as spectating goes, as a point of order/etiquette, leaving the row or two immediately behind the pit garages for the participating cars makes life a lot safer and simpler.

What time does it start? I may pop over for a bit of spectating.

Cars will be on track from around 9:00am for sighting laps followed by an open pit lane. Lunch is 12:30pm to 1:30pm, the track closes at 5pm.

I'll be there spectating in my Focus ST Edition so come say hello. Hope the track clears quickly after the storm due from 3pm today until 8am tomorrow.
