I’m looking at putting together a trip for me and my 2 sons (14/17).

Crossing via the Chunnel on 25 Aug, doing Fri/Sat/Sun at Spa, checkout on Monday morning to meander over towards Zandvoort by Thu PM. To then do Fri/Sat/Sun at the GP and cross back to UK late afternoon on Monday 6th.

Budgeting about €300 per person for tickets for each weekend, is this realistic?

Any decent sites recommended for tickets and when do they go on sale?

Any top tips for accommodation? Happy to stay up to 30 km from the circuit. May have bikes with us if it makes life easier for ingress and egress after dumping the car a few km out.

Finally, recommendations for where to go on the Mon/Thu in between. Kids enjoy karting, museums and history.

Thanks in advance.

I’d always book through the circuit or the official F1 website, there are loads of dodgy ticket websites out there who will take your money and not be in possession of tickets. You may pay a bit more through official channels but given the issues people had in 2020 with various F1 tour operators, I’d not take the risk myself.

It’s also only 300kms from Spa to Zandvoort so factor in some sight seeing at Bonn, Cologne and Amsterdam on the way…

Bonn, Cologne etc is a good shout, hence my nod towards ‘meander’…

Will always try and buy tickets through official channels. I read somewhere that the Dutch GP was going to be a ballot due to demand - hope not!

https://www.autoworld.be/home is in Brussels and set in a nice location, opposite another museum that is full of tanks, planes and other war related things

You have Louwman Museum in the Netherlands, great place to visit aswell

If your not shy of the drive, then Classic Remise Düsseldorf in really nice, and Düsseldorf itself isn't that bad either, it's not that far from Spa if I remember correctly, Autobahn speeds help bring the travelling time down aswell
