Remember this car had such delicate chassis tubes that they ended up filling them with gas and putting a pressure gauge in the dashboard, so the unfortunate driver would immediately realise he’s doing 200+ down the Mulsanne Straight in a snapped car…

Other examples of drivers working in their own cars mid race welcomed…
