On the near side front of the inlet manifold is the thermonite switch, temperature sensor plus a hose connection (around 8mm).
Once hose on this connection where does the other end go?

Hi,

On my 350i there are a cluster of hoses, the smaller one goes off to the expansion tank.

Not sure if that is what you are talking about. Perhaps a picture of the area.

Thanks - sounds 'strange' but that's what the guy said yesterday at a Land Rover garage who is used to V8's
However called DGTVR today asked the question and they said it connects to the underside of the plenum, as does the pipe form the small intake on the heater pipe that runs through the valley

Well, that is the fun of every TVR, have you searched on here, there are a fair few threads on the subject.
There are some plumbing diagrams I have seen somewhere?
