Sonos Arc+Sub, which rear speakers?

I added 2 symfonisk rears to my beam and sub, wasn't that impressed with the sound quality.
With you mentioning 'rears' was the poor sound quality in reference even when used just for surround sound (which I had assumed was less 'sonically demanding' than 'real' music, if you know what I mean) or was it more when used for whole-room music where high fidelity might be more sought after?MJNewton said:

2. when used as surrounds, i felt the lacked a fullness to the sound and seemed to project over a narrower area of the sofa.
I have a friend who used the lamps instead and they sounded slightly better.
One of my sons has a Play1 in his room. The other has a symfonisk bookshelf.
I'd described the difference as "marginal, but noticeable".
We have 2 x Play1s for surround. (With a PlayBase). Although I think the bookshelf ones would look more discrete on a small shelf rather than the wall mounted 1s.
