Disney+ app on LG4K Smart TV
Discussion
This is driving me to distraction now...have Netflix, Prime and Disney+
The first two stream seamlessly (I live zone 3 London with something like 60mbps internet speed) but Disney+ is a glitching nightmare. Anything on it just stutters along every 10 seconds or so it stutters lose sound and picture jolts. I have an LG 43" PLA TV just two years old. I have tried:
Restarting the app and TV including complete power down
Updating firmware on TV and for the app
Restarting my router
Pausing and waiting for a few minutes whilst watching to see if it buffers ahead but doesnt do anything.
Stopping the programme, leaving the app running for 10 mins, then starting it again
I really cannot understand why this app is so crap whilst Netflix and Prime jog along fine no problem. I dont want wires running across the room from the router (which has a clear space between it and the TV of about 5 metres).
Any ideas?

Glad you got it sorted. I need Disney + but just for a few days at the end of November to watch The Beatles Get back three parter - not sure whats the best way to get it for such a short period. I have basic Sky/Smart TV and a wi-fi router.
Maybe they have a free week offer still? They did when I got it, free for a week then something like £8 a month now. You should be able to put the app on your smart tv or just watch it on your laptop (I have the browser app on my chromebook too)Gassing Station | Home Cinema & Hi-Fi | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
