Don't know but there's a bit in the north west corner of Oklahoma that looks a bit blank compared to the rest of the US.

These are a couple of good sites that give links to google maps (same photos) - you can generally get the google earth long/lat stats as well.

http://googleglobetrotting.com/
http://perljam.net/google-satellite-maps/

Both are categorised so you can search by location/what you're looking for - 1st one seems better for 'unusual' stuff, 2nd for known locations.

Try not to spend to much time on them...

"Plane Graveyard" - proper title is AMARC Davis Monthan Air Force Base, Tuscon, Arizona.

Although not as spectacular there are airliner "graveyards" and storage facilities at Mojave and Marana Airports, California.

Just to let you know, the number of aircraft stored at Davis Monthan is about 1/3 what it was immediately after the end of the Vietnam War in 1974/75.
Although many of the aircraft end up being scrapped, quite a few are in storage and are available to re-enter service following a few weeks refurbishment.

Wow! Until I read this thread I never knew there was such a thing, cheers guys.

Only thing is, I can't zoom in on my town enough to recognise individual buildings (Such has my house). Am I expecting too much or is it just that the graphic thing in my computer is a bit crap?

You may notice by my use of the term "Graphic thing" I don't know much about computers

Different parts of the world are coverd to different levels of resolution. You may live in a fairly low res area. Where I am in Farnborough is pretty sharp. Not only can you se my house and car on the drive, but Farnborough airfield is very clear with individual aircraft easily visinle. In fact, you can see clearly the Blackburn Buccaneer on display outside QinetiQ's HQ building at Pyestock.

I spent a while the other night looking for the Nazca lines/drawings/figures/animals. Couldn't find them though. I'm not too sure how big they are and how visible they'd be. Maybe that area isn't high enough resolution or I was just looking in wrong place.
