COP Congestion Glasgow 5th 6th Nov
Discussion
Major marches with 50k marchers from Kelvingrove Park to Glasgow Green/George Sq on Fri 5th and Sat 6th Nov.
With the M8 roadworks still ongoing, Clydeside Expressway closure and any suprise XR typrd demos the roads will be a nightmare. City centre and west end best avoided unless you need to be there. I work every second weekend driving around greater GLasgow. Luckily that is my weekend off.
The confirmed route for the Climate Change March on Saturday 6th [SB] November and the proposed route for the Youth Day of Action March (called Fridays for Futures) on the Friday 5th November are on Glasgow City Council’s processions page https://www.glasgow.gov.uk/forms/futureprocessions... This is a public facing webpage so this information can be freely shared.
