Hi everyone

just bought a 4.5 B grade `97 Leopard at auction. Has the VQ30DET, so much cheaper than an equivalent Laurel 25 Club S Turbo, or JZX100. (auto of course).

The F31`s seem to have a following but I hear very little about the Y33`s. Anyone here had one/know one? The wife is using my Forester S-edition, I have a 82 Crown Super Saloon on a boat already, and only two car parking spaces. So some tough decisions will have to be made in a few months.

Fantastic car - nice work OP, defo pics when it arrives. Also nice work with the other household motor's, I'm an addict when it comes to Crown's smile

Love the seats and wheels, looks great. I have this in my Japanese car magazine collection, wrong gen compared to yours but really well thought out compendium.

I should really change my name, never had an AE86 - but always a Toyota fan, finally got my Crown 4 years ago after years of crappy cars biggrin

That makes me laugh! I have about 20+ Japanese car mags on the way to the UK , I can’t read Japanese but am planning on using the photos in a future project

Here is the Supersaloon that is on its way!

You have to keep that one, very cool car - especially with the bonnet side mirrors.

I have a bunch of Toyota sales brochures, all 7 GT Memories and a smattering of VIP Style Magazine… the google translate app gets a hammering whenever it comes through!

It’s a 97, VQ30DET 3.0 liter Turbo, so many luxury comforts I can’t be bothered to list them all. Seems very responsive and well built, not a Nissan badge anywhere

It’s going to be a great Q car

I'm down in Hampshire and we have a local club that does get togethers for a natter about our JDM toys but the meet today was in Newbury at the Podium Coffee house, very nice venue when youtubers aren't messing it up wink

There's a VIP car club on facebook which I believe is nationwide but not sure as I'm only in the UK Crown owners club (Nobility - UK Crown Owners).

Interesting, I am over in Cheltenham so Newbury is an easy drive over. Southampton might be a bit further !

I will have to ask the missus about the facebook group, I left it in 2008 :-)
