Just got 4 new mich cross climate tyre from large well known tyre outlet, when i looked at the date of manufacture it was week 09 year 2019 over two and a half years old is this acceptable?

I wouldn't have problem with it. The turnover on all-season tyres in this country wouldn't be that great I suspect so I wouldn't be too surprised.

Is it a Cross-Climate or Cross-Climate Plus?

The Plus replaced the Cross-Climate, so that should have told you that you were buying an older tyre anyway.

FYI, the Cross-Climate 2 is out now, and is better than both the previous versions.

But, no, a 2 year old unused tyre would not bother me.

IIRC, the industry's view is that up to 3-years old counts as new as far as retail sale of tyres is concerned. That's not a view that I agree with, but they probably don't care what I think smile

Stored inside away from UV light on there side or rotated regularly so not sat on wine point no issues
