Hi Folks,
The Reno Ultima Gathering is just around the corner!!! Sign up here and get your hotel room ASAP, if you haven't done so already.
As part of the entertainment, we are going to the Reno-Fernley Raceway on Sunday (9/4) for an open track-day event. If you've never done this before, you will absolutely love it. And, you can run any car you bring...including rental cars!!!
Bill Elliot's 1988 NASCAR champion racecar holds record of 212 MPH @ Talladega. Driver is owner and instructor at TNL.
Even if you have never been on a track before, this will be a great introduction and it's open to everyone (age 18+ with a valid driver's license).
Here is the process to get registered for the track day. Please send me any questions you might have.

The track owners require drivers to have a helmet, long pants, closed shoes (no flip-flops) and a competition license, or a "track pass". The cost is $150 for those with a competition license ($100 for a half day), $200 for those that need a track pass. Add $20 to rent a helmet, if you don't bring one.
To get a track pass, you will be enrolled in a driving class that is run by The Next Level (TNL) Driving School. Their website can be found here. The sign-up sheet is here.
