Mobile Phone signal booster
Discussion
It used to be femtocells.
It’s now voice over ip.
O2 should support this.

If you’re using a mvno (like giff gaff) then they may not support it and you’re stuffed.

Does your device support WiFi calling? I'm on EE, my wife on Vodafone, both SIM only deals using our own phones that support it and it works perfectly. https://www.o2.co.uk/help/network-coverage-and-int...
good luck with wifi, femto etc. if you want it for work, get a signal booster. else you'll miss calls, be unavailable when you should be. I tried so many wifi solutions and only a booster gave me 100% reliability.
there are a fair few mobile signal booster co.s out there. Just tell them which network, and whether you want 3g or 4g and they'll sort you with the right amp. I have one that boosts Three and O2, 3g max as I don't need 4g. Which frequencies you need is area dependent too. Networks don't operate identically in all areas. Just let the booster co sort it for you.
I DIY installed mine and I'm 5 bars in my house, from zero.

The issue is technically mobile phone signal boosters are illegal to use (but madly perfectly legal to sell)
You would probably never get found unless it is leaking and causing interference onto other systems.
Wifi calling works very well, we all use it here at home and even my dual sim phone (with two different networks).

Not my experience running a business. I tried WiFi calling (built into phone - VoIP) and I tried a Three UK femto. Both showed me unavailable sometimes when I was not. Femto also needed rebooting, and relies on good broadband which I don't have.
Boosters work 100%, and honestly, you've got sod all chance of coming a cropper in a domestic environment.
I actually have to disable WiFi calling on my phone as it kicks in in my workshop when the signal is low. It's better off on the low "real" Signal.
Mileage may vary and you obviously had good experience s but I didn't, and I'm a techy guy.

Interesting my wife has had issues with her 3 wifi calling but my two business number on EE and O2 have been fine.
Once we boosted her wifi connection in her home office the issue disappeared. So the issue could be more wifi and broadband connectivity rather than wifi calling as such.

As above, these are illegal. We installed one at a customers in Kensington and they had two visits from Ofcom
The only licensed systems are from Cel-fi and they are very expensive. Wifi calling is the only other (legal) option for residential use.

Commercial...? A friend owns a telecoms co and instal!s them and hasn't had an issue yet. More rural down here so I guess less likely to get noticed. But on your house? Who is going to report you?
But regardless, my advice from experience stands. If you want reliable go signal booster.
