Just had a windscreen fitted. Proper green TVR jobby.
Very very good job, bit of b'stard to fit, no interior trim broken, nicely finished off - well as well as a tvr windscreen can be finished off.

Local chap, even made me start the car up so he could hear it running.

£220 all in.

I didn't think that was bad, he was here over 3 hours. Nice to see a bloke who takes pride in his job and loves tvr's too.

Just about to get a new screen for my S3. Please, please, please, advise the name of your screen fitter.......sounds like he did a good job - I am v. nervous of taking my car into a Auto, RAC, National Windscreens depot.....

Whatever you do dont use the RAC. They fitted the screen on my TVR (just before I bought it) and they did a really crap job imo. I didnt pay for it (Sorry Hoover mate) but its now the worst part of the car.

No problem Phil, I am spending most of my days fiddling with the S up at Dave's place if you fancy a laugh at me, or to have a look at the windscreen job.

It's the old bristol mini's place, hillfields avenue, Staple hill. (DC Autocare as it is now)
