My sister has been asking me, under the misguided assumption that I know everything about cars, about the implications of putting E10, instead of E5, in her 18 year old Yaris.
She's a nurse and has a 30 mile daily round trip to work, and is finding that it's costing her a lot more for fuel. E5 seems to be abiut 20p a litre more than E10 in our area.

I have researched across a few sites but can't find anything more than bland statements about 'damage' being caused to older engines if they are fuelled with E10.

Grateful for any informed views?

Cheers
Doug

1NZFE is fine with e10 as far as i'm aware, I looked into this as my JDM bB is essentially the same car.
