That was the most entertaining thing I've watched in ages! I simply can't imagine such a thing happening these days, but I would pay good money to watch it if it did - a BTCC team version would be equally amusing, I suspect

Thing is...lots of professional drivers became team managers later.

Reminds me of the Escort Mexico celebrity races.... lot of sportsmen are decent peddlers.
Noel Edmonds was quite good too,

Like you say....That would be good as a BTCC support race.
