To you 996TT tuners out there. What spring/damper combination is generally best regarded as best for mainly road use? I have a friend looking to freshen up his suspension.

On soft car like 996 turbo I'd try tractive active dampers. 9e have just fitted a set to someones 996 GT3 and 997.1 GT3/turbo. Worth a chat. I've not tried mine yet though. To be honest the stock suspension fine for me when I had a go in 996 turbo s but nice to keep up with new tech especially in a turbo which is that type of playstation car. Nice to have some more electronics if it helps the car flow with a road wink

The Mrs didn’t want too low, or firm for her car, which is a 9e25 996. Ken recommend new springs and B6’s which has been superb for a mainly road car.

I’d have gone for pss9’s or ohlins, but the B6’s have been superb and suit the car with a comfortable ride on our rubbish roads with good control.
