im amazed at how strong interest is so early on and it is a lovely cherished example by the looks of things

clearly a sellers market but its amazing how resilient prices are. is a new bubble being created?

Looks well. (£500-1000 to sort the rust out I guess?)
They all go there, 997 doesn't have sill guards like the 996 so that bottom corner gets peppered. Done mine 3/4 times over the years about £300 . They also rust in wheel arches front and rear lips plus under the sills between under trays and bottom of the sills. All areas need checking seen rust on low mileage garage kept carsCunno said:

Yep nothing major but well worth dealing with / protecting your investment with a good coat of underseal etc.Beautiful car, white suits them so well. Interesting to see the amount of cars advertised shrinking so drastically, hopefully falling into the hands of keepers, mine certainly is.

^Agree with this. Both 996 and 997 platform in general, not just GT cars, have issues with this. Keep on top, that's all. GT3 more so because it has no arch liners, but this is by no means amiss.Looks a very nice car. Unless you really want to track a car, the non-Clubsport spec like this is the one to have. Would make a truly epic roadtrip car.
Looks like a very nice example from the pictures. Engine bay looks clean which is a good sign. I'm a bit puzzled by the fire extinguisher though. Why would anyone spec that as a factory option, other than for trackdays, especially since the car is not a Clubsport? Also I don't think Porsche actually fitted them from the factory (did they?), they would just supply the extinguisher in a box, and so if an extinguisher is fitted, then this was done intentionally by a previous owner. So re the comments in the auction re trackdays my educated guess would be that yes it has seen track action more likely than not. Obviously though nothing at all wrong with that it is a GT3 after all

Or the owner who installed the extinguisher had a bad experience with an early 991 GT3 and wanted the reassurance of an extinguisher in easy reach.
Or they wanted a bit of motorsport flavour in the cabin without having buckets and cage. Maybe they took the car on a track day or 3, or maybe not.
The white one looks ace; perfect base car for a 997 Touring.

Is this the same car from last year / earlier this year that appeared at various dealers & CC?

This is new to the market I think? £110k for a low mileage comfort.

Proctor? Proctologist more like, at that price. This is new to the market I think? £110k for a low mileage comfort.

Nice enough car and ultra low mileage, but six figures?

That’s almost a time warp car with 8000 miles on the clock. If your average 30k miler is £85k it’s not exactly outrageous is it? Nice enough car and ultra low mileage, but six figures?
At that price a Gen 2 car might make more sense, perhaps.
