Looking forward to the air show returning this year. Has anyone got the schedule for each day? Also my 6 year old son has become obsessed with the Red Arrows, is there anywhere where he can meet the pilots?

Unsure on the schedule (they sometimes keep it for just the programme to encourage sales) but thought the red arrows usually take off from other air fields rather than the location of their display?

They often use Bournemouth as a temporary base but there is no access to the public. Fun watching them take off and land though.

There is always a meet and greet with at least one pilot, just keep an eye on their Twitter account for details. RA fly at 3pm each day. If you're there for more than 1 day them perhaps make your way to the airport to watch them take off/land (they usually use Bournemouth Airport but do check as they haven't always).

Seems to be very little info' this year. Any ships in town? At least weather is looking good

The reds will have a tent setup on the seafront (along with the other display teams) and you will find pilots there each day (I think the reds advertise this).

I was due to go stay at my mates on West Cliff (free parking and an airbed hehe ) from Friday afternoon until Sunday morning but due to family commitments I can only go from Thursday Afternoon until Friday night now, does anyone know if the flying schedule is mostly consistent for each day? My mate thinks it is but I am dubious. Only going due to missing RIAT for two years now!

Main things I wanted to see were the dusk displays (especially the Typhoon), the blades and the Super Pitts but from what I’ve seen it’s only the Reds that have been confirmed to fly daily.

There is no ‘meet the pilots’ this year. The website states:

Will there be a pilot meet and greet session?
No, not this year – though there will be a virtual Red Arrows meet and greet, checkout the social channels for more information and how to get involved.
