A long story short, we are borrowing a field for some lambs, which belongs to a local 80+ yo chap. There are several barns in which there are a few old vehicles. He now wishes to dispose of these as the cars and barns are gently decaying. Most are just scrap value, Fiesta, Transit etc.
However there is a blue Mk 1 Suzuki Swift parked up complete. Too new to be classic, too old to be a dd. But it is complete.
Before it also goes to the yard in the sky, I felt it should be offered to the PH great and good on the small off chance that someone may need or want some or all of it to complete a project.
As an aside, my Police Officer mate had one in the early 90’s I sort of recall. Quiet a nippy little thing.
Anyway, if anyone is interested or knows anyone who might be, they may wish to save it.

My mum had one of those brand new in 2000. It was awesome. I remember passing my test in 2001 and mum adding me on the insurance, I loved razzing that around!

Don’t these rev really high in first gear or something? Probably diced with death several times as a passenger in one of these as a 90s teen biggrin

Luke - it is between Yeovil and Taunton in Somerset. The old boy is trying to locate the keys and v5 etc. Thus I’ve not been able to look inside or under the bonnet. However it is in a dry barm and parked up since being driven in. Message me if you need more info or more phots. Unfortunately your settings won’t allow me to email you.

Looks like a 1.0 or 1.3 GLS, if I'm right; the alloys seem to suggest it's that trim level.

GLS was the supposedly sporty trim level.

Good little barn find!
