Supra GR 3.0 Connectivity Issues
Discussion
Bought a 2nd hand Supra GR a couple of weeks ago
So far i have been unable to add the car to SupraConnect
(when using the app to add the VIN no, the error says 'The requested services have been deactivated for this vehicle' - when trying to add the VIN through the web page the error says 'The mobile network connection has been deactivated for this vehicle')
I spoke to Toyota technical last Thursday & shortly after that Apple CarPlay disappeared as an option when my iphone connects to the car.
The selling garage are clueless... 'it's BMW kit, phone Toyota technical' was the help they have given so far
Having trawled other forums, it does appear there can be an issue with the BMW servers that can occur from time to time that removes Apple CarPlay but usually for multiple owners
I was just wondering if any other owners have experienced similar problems and if they found a solution?
Cheers for any help of insight you can give

Well, the dealer did nothing for the day it was there...
Didn't check if it needed a software update & didn't even manage to reset the system to factory settings to see if that made any difference!...
So here we are over seven weeks after buying the car, still without connected services with no-one having a clue how to enable them
Toyota, you're a shambles

Might be worth trying to track down a local BMW "coder", maybe check out some owerns forums? There seem to be plenty about that can add hardware and features to cars using dealer level software, this is their bread and butter so I would expect them to solve the issue quicker than a dealer.

Cheers for that.... You're right it's not something the dealer could fix, they admit they just call the lads at ToyotaYour comment also reminded me to update the thread :-)
After certain members of the motoring press contacted the Toyota press office on my behalf, by some miracle, the functions suddenly appeared late last week. So all is good with the world.... for now
