Have just got Roobarb back after months at the garage having an engine upgrade, first run out, bosh, windscreen meet stone meet windscreen. Chip. Chips are fine they can be fixed but chip and hairline cracks..new windscreen. One Pig and his Arse.
Has anyone had any good/bad experiences with AutoGlass ?

Er, the dealers call in the professionals anyway (i.e. RAC/Autoglass etc.).

Only thing to check is that you get the top monkey installer from the supplier who has done TVRs before and pray your trim doesn't get cut in the process of removing the old screen. They'll want your car most of a day to do the job, probably at their workshop.

Fernhurst don't, they do it themselves. Bloody work proud bunch they are too, fitted I think 5 before they were completely happy with the fit as they all seem to come slightly different.
As the car in question is in W. Sussex I'd get it down there pronto.

Don't use Autoarse - tried to fix mine 3 times and eventually went to C. Neils to get it done.

I had the rear screen of my Cerbera removed and rebonded yesterday by Howard of Merlin Motorscreens (07768 661175).

He came recommended by Brian from Fernhurst and made a superb job of it, plus he will travel to you from Cranleigh in Surrey!

I had an excellent experience at autoglass with my S. No problems, excellent service and a better job than the original... think it all depends on the branch
