Retractable hard top system malfunction and window problem

Hi all, newbie here!

My wife's 2017 MK4 RF driver side window stopped working. I replaced the window regulator (the cable was well chewed up) the window now goes up and down.

However, I have the following problems:
-The window will not go up or down automatically
-The window goes down when I switch off the engine and open the door (so have to climb out the passenger side to lock and secure the car)
-If I try opening the roof the first stage of the retraction goes well, but then the roof will not release and fold into its slot with the following error "Retractable hard top system malfunction".

I assume they are all related.

I have gone through the window reset routine a couple of time but with no change.

Any ideas?

Solved! Took the door card off again and reseated all connectors. One, on the switch, gave a rather satisfying click. All working as it should now.
