I'll be pleased when he retires, its spoiling the racing for me as all I do is look for where he is.

It'll be a bit of a sad day for me when he leaves Moto GP.

I really wish he’d of gone to WSBK a few years ago. Or better still BSB and had a go at the TT.

Could you imagine the publicity. Whatever he does it’s been a fantastic 25 years and I’m glad to have watched him in action across Europe many times.

Likewise, first times to check are always Vale. He did have a reasonable run though

Anyone else notice how trim he looked in that press conference, he has lost weight over the summer break.

Could we see a new Vale on the bike the second half of the season...? Could he get his 200th podium in motoGP...?

We all knew the time had come , but nonetheless it is sad knowing the conclusion of a Motorcycle racing career has finally arrived.
And like many I’m sure , I had hoped to see him ride at Mugello ,but COVID put paid to that. So personally I feel upset that the opportunity passed me by.
I’ve seen him race twice in Malaysia and been party to around 100,000 Rossi supporters turning the stands into a sea of yellow so at least have had a taste of what he brought to the sport. A big thanks to VR for some great memories.

It’ll be strange not seeing him on the grid, but he knows it’s time. Top, top racer and he brought MotoGP back to the fans, at a point where interest was possibly disappearing.

I don’t know where to start with this. WSBK might, just might have been an option, but BSB is a ridiculous idea and the TT an absolute non-starter. Few short track racers want to go anywhere near the roads, let alone someone in Rossi’s position.

I suspect he'll do some more rallying.

Would certainly swell the wsb viewing diggers though if he did two seasons there before giving up two wheels as a job.

Seems he's gonna do something, move to cars, I'd definitely watch to see how he got on

I think he mentioned WEC and doing the Le Mans 24h was on his wishlist.

I wonder if he could do a bit of FIM EWC such as Bol d'Or and things like that.

I'm sure we'll still hear about Valentino going fast somewhere. He's got such a following I can sponsors being keen to get him in the spotlight somewhere.

He said although he's tried rallying it's to difficult so would like to stick to circuit racing in gt cars.

The le mans organisers must be loving the potential of rossi there next year .

The BSB and TT comment was written very much tongue in cheek. However I always felt the WSBK thing was a distant possibility.

World Superbikes is so much MotoGPs poor relation I don’t think he’d be happy doing that, may as well carry on doing GPs.

Many GP riders including Rossi have done a lap of the TT circuit in the past. I believe the prevailing view from most of them is along the lines of ‘fk that for a game of soldiers!’.
