Problem transferring downloads to new laptop

I am in the process of tranferring a lot of files from my old laptop to my new one
However getting an error message when trying to do the 'Downloads'

The error code is 0x80070570

and a search on the web gives me a program that will sort this out called Restoro

Is it worth spending 25.00 for a years use, or are there any other Cheaper, better solutions i can use?

The downloads folder is a file folder just like any other. I can't say I've ever had any issues either copying or moving any files or file folders it contains.

Have you had problems with viruses and pop-ups at all?

Sounds like one of the files is corrupt. You can test this by copying a few at a time.
