The west is not alone in facing the problems of Islamic Fundementalism.

They were certainly Muslims, but the reasons behind their attacks had more to do with the conflict in Chechnya.

True, but the terrorists didn't simply go into the school and blow themselves up... IIRC they took hostages to try and get some of their colleagues (for want of a better word) freed.
