I live locally. The premises was a great little local garage with 2 very honest and reliable guys. I used them loads. It looks a bit ramshackle but it's charming in some ways too and it in no way implied you'd get oily hand prints on your A-pillar trims and stuff like that so the appearance of the building never bothered me. On the contrary, shiny buildings usually makes me think I'm over-paying to be honest.
I've spoken to the new owner on the phone (I needed an MOT actually and he doesn't offer than service like the old occupiers did) but he was very friendly and invited me to go meet him and look around. I'd meant to go down while he still had another XJ-S in but haven't got round to it yet. I will do though

It’s great to see a local business which may be suitable for some types of repair and maintenance of cherished motors.
I agree about the standard of premises and my worry was that it might take them some time to be operational.
I’ll drop in for a chat and look around hopefully meeting the owner.
