Hello, has anyone driven the updated version of the X3 with experience of the previous, is the ride a little move comfortable and are there any other perceived improvements?

I do understand this car isn't an M favourite but it's still a little special and good news these cars are continuing to be manufactured.

As I got rid of mine for the ride issue, I would also be interested to know this - also if the extra 50 Nm torque is noticeable

Just been looking at these.
Have noticed some Sept 2020 cars with a different dash layout to Oct 2020 cars - was this just a mild facelift and was anything else updated then?

Believe that's the update to iDrive 7. But happened earlier in the year so likely the Sept were sitting around before being registered.

Yeah mine is the updated version a 2021 car, BMW got rid of the circular dials and replaced with the more modern screen. Also on the later cars you can get red calipers. Think they also got rid of that smart key that came as part of the comfort package.

I Also think the LCI will not be as good as value, have been following the prices on TRL Deals for the new M3 and even with a big deposit your talking £800+ a month. My guess is the prices will Align with the M3 so no £550 deposit £550 a p/m deals i suspect.

799pm/799 deposit is best I've seen.

Previously, 649/649 was doable. About 8k difference over the term. I'm not sure how much of this is due to supply issues, but it's still a decentish deal.

19k off LCI if you are a member of the 4 emergency services, forces, IAM and several other organisations.

Google BMW UK Forces.

IAM do indeed qualify, as do teachers…

Yup. Not quite the £22k off the pre-LCI deal they had but close enough. There doesn't appear to be much/any BMW FS support currently for pretty much any model.

A cracking deal given the days of massive contributions appear to be over for the medium term.

I think so. I was looking second hand, anything, but with high used car costs and very high APR on used vehicles it made sense to talk to John Clark and place a deposit. There isn't much to spend on options, these cars seem to have it all, visibility pack and parking cameras. The car should be here next March, April, May...

There are 3 of the Nice Blues ones in the build Q for the UK

1 has Pano Roof
other 2 have Pano roof and Tech Pack.

Ive just rung my dealer for a swap on mine, had it since Feb smile, but he's also tempted me with the I4 M50, Time will tell......
Ride wise I hear its slightly better, and if you fall lucky and get Pilot 4s then its the best you'll get... But I,ll be honest 4k miles in I really don't feel that much diff than my old 3.0d Msport X3. Its an M car for god sake not a Magic Carpet smile

That being said I wish they had adopted Air Suspension of sorts :P

FYI Interest rate goes up to 3.9 1st of October from 2.9 and at moment discounts are 6k extra....if PCP is your thing

Sorry. Are you saying discount is being reduced by £6k AND APR is going up? That’ll be some lift.

Interest could go up to 3.9.

Currently they are doing an Extra 6k Chassis allowance

i just had a quote for an i4 M50 which is currently at 4.9 and the payments even though the cars cheaper are 1000 a month....
Also FYI if you didnt know because i didnt, Park Lane which is BMW owned will discount a further 17% if you have any Family with NHS or Military history, IE they still have there ID cards smile

Thanks.

Yes, I am aware of the BMW UK Forces subdivision of Park Lane/GB however I wasn't aware it was a FURTHER discount. Just thought it was roughly a flat 20% off i.e. the VAT.
