F10 M5 - any years worth avoiding?

would i be right in saying that pre lci cars ie 2013 and below were known to have oil pump issues?
also which years had problematic injectors?

just trying to broaden my search for an m5

anything else worth knowing?

yeah i was hoping for a comp pack but they are few and far between. more concerned about reliability issues on certain years so just trying to learn as much as possible about it

From my experience of owning both from new, I defiantly preferred my standard LCI car over comp that replaced it. Just couldn’t get the comp car to settle on fast A/B roads and got rid after a few months (that was eye watering depreciation).

i did wonder if the comp pack was actually worth it, only 15bhp more and some very slight suspension/exhaust changes. i would be adding my own choice of suspension/exhaust and if i ever got bored of the 600-odd bhp i would have a stage 1 on it which would give alot more than 15bhp

any other advice guys? rods/injectors seem to be the biggest issues with them

Get one with BMW warranty, don't do any mods and enjoy it lol
