2015 Defender Intermittent Alarm Activation

Hi Everyone, normally inhabit Aston section but a friend of mine has asked for help!

He has a 2015 Defender 110 with double cab. It has only covered about 26k miles.

His problem is that the alarm activates intermittently. Been to the local dealer but they seem unable to cure the problem hence seeking advice from you knowledgeable folks.

I know nothing about these vehicles so, for example, do they have an OBD11 socket and if so would it give any indication of an alarm issue?

Any help or clues would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance. David.

Mine was doing the same, and after a bit of trial and error (checking the usual problem areas like door / bonnet contacts) I found it was down to the battery being on the way out.

Get the battery checked
As well are they using it on a regular basis because if not used on a regular basis it can go off.
