Jeez. Was riding home (Gen1 Hayabusa) yesterday afternoon along the A13, when (I assume) a young-ish rider on a modern 125 bike came screaming past like a loonatic, undertaking/overtaking cars very aggressively, so I let him get on with it.

I get to the A13/A406 roundabout (which is the 1st of the war-zones I have to encounter ever day), and there he was on his @arse on the floor looking sorry for himself but still apparently in reasonable shape, so I continued with a chuckle.

A statistic waiting to happen...

He was probably still blinded by the ugliness of seeing a Gen1 Hayabusa biggrin

laugh

One of my mates is ranked amongst the visually challenging but also owns a Gen1.

The fun we have any time he posts a photo of himself anywhere near the bike...

hehe

I would have stopped just to make sure he was OK.. I know it mustn't be good being passed by a 125 but that young kid is maybe part of the future of motorcycling.

125cc bikes often go fast for several reasons:
- They are smaller, so they fit into smaller places
- The operators have no clue about danger
- The operators have only limited interest in self-preservation
- The operators are willing to ride so that they would lose their licence (sorry, learners permit) in a single morning if there was actually anyone around to enforce basic road rules.

All of that equals go fast.

Another vote for "should have at least stopped and checked". Worth assuming they are a decent human until they prove otherwise - riding like a joker and travelling through a certain area proves nothing.

Under normal circumstances I'd agree, however he was picking the bike up off the floor so clearly in good condition.

The gentleman has a veritable point doth he not?

Had there been a K6 GXSF though he would probably be in A&E.
